As Assistant Director of Programs, I led a 10-person direct services team to co-design and facilitate 15+ annual career and digital skill training programs for 1,000+ refugees, immigrants, returning citizens, youth, and houseless populations.Some of my additional contributions include:➥ Moved in-house all previously outsourced training programs and recruited 10 FTEs to administer the programs. ➥ Shaped a highly diverse team that accurately reflected the broader community. ➥ Developed work plans and built mentor-mentee relationships with individual team members; enabled 5 staff to promote to progressively senior positions.➥ Facilitated over $500K in program expansion.➥ Partnered with Computing for All and North Seattle College to co-develop the Technology Career Pathway; provided career development opportunities for a diverse talent pool.➥ Steered the company through the pandemic by facilitating the transition to digital platforms for all training programs.➥ Coached Program Managers on project management best practices.

I ensured that all program participants were fully trained, supported, and optimally positioned to succeed in the fast-paced healthcare industry. Some of my key contributions include:➥ Cultivated strategic relationships with a range of community employers and businesses. ➥ Established a network of 50+ BIPOC-led and BIPOC-serving organizations within Puget Sound to generate strong referral business. ➥ Oversaw the full research, design, implementation, and post-launch evaluation process for systems innovation products.➥ Ensured key DE&I goals are incorporated into all products and programs. ➥ Negotiated $1MM+ in new contracts with government agencies, businesses, and service providers.➥ Established performance benchmarks to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project plans, and customer expectations.➥ Developed a 3-step career pathway that enabled promotions to various counties and hospitals. ➥ Established flexible curricula for both unionized and non-unionized healthcare environments. ➥ Routinely negotiated lucrative new partnerships or terminated unprofitable partnerships.

As Sr. Project Manager, I led a suite of strategic projects and change management initiatives to transition into new programming. Some of my additional duties include: ➥ Designed and launched the CareerConnect training program for underinvested populations.➥ Facilitated a dynamic inter-agency learning community via integrated training programs that prioritize the art of coaching, case management best practices, cultural humility, race equity, stages of change, motivational interviewing, and appreciative inquiry methods.
