Being surrounded by inspired creatives fuels my passion for design, and I aspire to be part of a great collaborative work environment. I am a balanced designer who values aesthetics and function equally. I have a strong sense of space and color, and I enjoy leading clients through the design process.With over ten years in the design industry, I have taken on a variety of responsibilities such as managing budgets, purchase orders, invoicing, subcontractor and client communication in addition to design-oriented tasks like space planning, sourcing FF&E, and drafting in CAD and SketchUp.I have experience with Residential, Commercial, and Multifamily Residential projects. I view interior design as a multi-dimensional puzzle to be solved, and enjoy tackling the new challenges that each new project presents. I love unexpected pairings and expanding comfort zones. One of my favorite moments in design is to hear the client say “I never thought of that!” My goal as a designer is to develop an understanding of my clients’ want and needs, and then to exceed their expectations. Sometimes that means leading them in a new direction, which requires designing with purpose as well as the ability to communicate intent. I utilize my strengths in visual and verbal communication to make sure my clients feel understood and excited about their design.
