VA - The Various Artists is a full-service creative agency located on the Sunshine Coast. Our team is dedicated to achieving technical and aesthetic excellence, fostering curiosity, and sharing innovative ideas.During my years as a graphic designer at VA, I managed ongoing design projects for esteemed clients such as Matthew Flinders Anglican College, Montessori International College, Sunshine Coast Open House, and Helimods. I also played a key role in creating unique brands like Mooloolaba Music, Giddy Geisha, and Yandina Town. My time at VA came to an end as I embarked on a journey of motherhood.

In a desire to pursue my career in brand strategy and creative design, I joined Chilli Group team as a graphic designer. My tasks include strategy and concept development (logos, stationery, flyers, ads, UX and UI design, marketing campaigns), finishing art (concept rollout in different applications adhering style guides and/or existing styles), print preparation and print production.

After Fan Design Studio scaled back it's operations and partly merged with VA in December 2016, I moved on to dtb! Advertising, a leading advertising agency based on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. My job included concept development and rollout.

Working alongside a creative director/brand strategist and art director, we are focusing on bringing value to businesses by creating messages worth believing. Alexandra Park Conference Centre is a modern facility offering accommodation for up to 250 people and catering for up to 700 people. It is owned by Uniting Church of Queensland, who is the second largest employer in Queensland. I work with every group visiting the site to ensure they will have a hassle free camp or conference. My duties include everything from making the booking until groups departure from site, organising the paperwork, compiling tax invoices, basic accounting, banking, answering the phone and other general reception duties. Quadrant Creative is a specialised advertising agency located in Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, they today create results-driven advertising and marketing campaigns for brand leaders in the spheres of property, retail, leisure, local government and tourism. Working there as a graphic design intern was an invaluable experience, aiding the progression of my career and skillset. Throughout my time there, I worked under the guidance of the creative director and senior art director. Besides getting deep insights into many amazing projects they have done over the years, I also worked on two major briefs (one already completed by the agency, second a project possibly evolving into a real brief in the future). Both projects involved creating a solid strategy to build upon, coming up with name options and then creating branding, UI/UX design, advertising campaigns, signage and also providing interior/exterior design concepts. During my internship I believe I evolved beyond my imagination. It also gave me crucial real-world experience, which I believe is vital in order to find employment in this industry. And the work that I produced in Quadrant Creative landed me a job in Fan Design Studio on Sunshine Coast 6 months before finishing university.
