Lewis Brisbois recruited me to work with their IT and litigation support department and the general liability department of five attorneys led by the Managing Partner. I wrote analysis / status reports and meet and confer letters for attorneys, drafted all types of discovery and responses thereto, analyzed medical information and damages, investigated witnesses and parties, and summarized deposition testimony. I prepared attorneys for trial, managed exhibits and witnesses, and assisted with drafting motions. Trained in Concordance database development and end-use, worked with e-discovery and metadata, and assisted with electronic exhibits and trial support software, slides, and video clips.

I joined the Environmental Toxic/Tort group and soon became the roving “trial support paralegal” for this office, and the go-to person when an attorney needed a paralegal to work up a case for trial, and for courtroom support.
