Hi there 👋I’m back and ready to work!After a gap year that actually lasted a year and a half, I’m all set to throw myself into the workforce and I’m ready for an intellectual challenge in line with my education and interests.So what does that mean?Let’s dive into my educational background first:- I am a Ghent University alumna with a Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics (NL / ENG / FR), majoring in Multilingual Communication.- I obtained my second Master’s diploma in Gender and Diversity the next year, where I developed many of my current passions.- I worked as a journalist twice during my studies, which sparked my interest in writing and in journalism in general.After five years of hard work I needed a break and left Belgium to travel in New Zealand. During my travels, I learned a lot about myself and unlocked new interests that made me who I am today. (I know, very cliché but it’s true.)Let me sum up a few of my interests and passions: ☕️ Anything that has to do with coffee. It’s as simple as that.📚 I’m addicted to reading (and buying) novels and non-fiction books.🏝 I am happily diagnosed with the travel bug.🌍 I am a proud advocate for a greener and healthier planet earth.🏔 I love to hike and explore nature.Now job wise… What am I looking for?- I would love to work in communication. Talking, writing, reading… and preferably a combination (in Dutch, English and/or French of course) would be ideal.- A rewarding job in the social sector for, for example, a non-profit organisation very much aligns with my personal mission and vision of helping people. As a Gender and Diversity graduate, all feminist-oriented businesses/organisations in particular fascinate me.- Jobs that contribute to a greener planet and a more environmentally friendly society also trigger my interest.- Working with people gives me energy. Customer-based jobs are a big yes for me.That was me.I am ready to find my dream job and start working.
