Katrin is a computer science graduate and current Master's student in cybersecurity at the Hasso Plattner Institute, aspiring to start a career in cybersecurity. She has a strong academic foundation and valuable experience in both academic and professional settings.During her undergraduate studies, Katrin was an active member of the computer science student association, where she managed the association's public relations and supported students. She also served in the students' parliament and university senate, contributing to key decision-making processes.Professionally, Katrin has worked with SAP in Red Teaming/Pentesting Operations. She has also written her thesis with that team and worked in customer engagement at SAP, gaining extensive cybersecurity and customer communications experience. Additionally, she taught C and C++ to first-year students and organized seminars as a student tutor, reinforcing the cross-section between technical and soft skills.
