During six months, I had involvement with eight different projects with varied scales and uses. These included residential buildings, office spaces and a nail salon. It was a small team, therefore a lot of the time I was leading the project alongside my director. This helped me to learn and develop an impressive variation of vital skills such as: being independent, listening and understanding clients and their needs, doing relevant research, taking surveys and creating drawing packages for planning applications.

I managed to complete two projects; “Physiotherapy space in a hospital” and a small scale residential house called “Pata 4 two”. With the first project, I was working fully independently. The main goal was to create a welcoming and healing environment for patients that were going through the rehabilitation process. To achieve this I used a lot of natural materials and fun colours. For the residential home, I had to design furniture that would be relatively cheap to produce yet still be aesthetically appealing and suit the needs of its users.
