Construction Project Management Experience:• Stained Glass Restoration at Riverside Church ($15M): restoration of all stained glass in the nave of the tallest church in the US (second tallest in the Western Hemisphere)• Renovation of 100+ year old factory building ($17M): restoration of 80,000 sq ft building included substantial asbestos abatement, roof replacement, facade repairs and $1.5M window replacement package• Copper roof restoration for The Hispanic Society ($5M): landmarked institution in Spanish Harlem community badly in need of repair, including asbestos abatement, complete removal, and replacement, and required extensive scaffolding and temporary roof system to allow work to continue through winter• Non-Profit theater renovation in TriBeCa ($10M)

On-Site Engineer Experience: - Oversaw construction of 4-building (~500 apartments), low-income housing project from post block and plank through completion - Managed the fit-out of a retail space, working directly with contractors (concrete, carpentry, MEP, etc.) to ensure construction was completed in a safe, timely and economic manner - Completed construction walk-throughs to ensure quality work in various disciplines including pre-sheetrock electrical and plumbing punch lists, ADA handicapped regulations checklists, MEP punch lists and landscaping/fencing punch lists Office Engineer Responsibilities: - Prepared and distributed RFIs, change orders and submittals as necessary to address real time construction issues is the field - Built relationships and negotiated terms and pricing with contractors while bidding out and purchasing various trades of the project - Acquired and filed numerous forms, certificates, and permits to schedule inspections with DOB, DOT and other city organizations to ensure work was uninterrupted and was performed safely and legally

Performed quality assurance work in the form of checking to find discrepancies between original structural plans and fabricator shop drawings and prepared and delivered summary of discrepancies and/or modifications to fabricator. I also designed bolt patterns as a solution to conflicting structural plans and fabricator shop drawings; designed support brackets for electrical conduit that ran up the length of a bridge tower according to AISC requirements for weight, wind and seismic loads; and created a Load Rating Report according to RIDOT and AASHTO specifications for a Rhode Island bridge on Route I-95 for which the report is to be used as reference in the case of over loaded truck crossings and/or potential material failures, all under the guidance of PE certified engineer.

Inspected apartments to prepare them for construction and renovation. Individually managed one of the four contracting companies employed. Ensured quality work by carpenters, plumbers, painters and general handymen to renovate and prepare about four hundred apartments over the course of the summer, each in less than eight days.
