I'm currently the Sciences Department Chair and Assistant Professor of Anatomy and Biology at Tidewater Community College in Portsmouth, VA. I have an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Regent University and an M.S. in Biology from the University of Texas at El Paso. My passion is in developing learning activities and assessments based on adult learning theory to help students become immersed in learning science. I have over 10 years of experience in course design, curriculum development, online learning, and educational technology in addition to extensive content knowledge in the sciences.
