Listening to the needs of my customers, colleagues, or direct reports and then working in the background to find solutions has always been my passion. I remember being on the verge of blossoming teenager-dom and always having the persona of the “listener”. This persona has carried me through a successful career where active listening, empathy, and problem solving are my guiding principles. I believe that investing in your people will never be a penny wasted. I’ve been lucky enough to have had mentors and bosses who have not only invested in me but encouraged me to invest in myself and engrained a habit of continual growth and learning. These practices have shaped me in to a leader who isn’t afraid to take risks or ask hard questions. I’m eager to get involved in anything and everything.In the future I’m looking forward to building more exceptional experiences, wearing more “hats”, and doing more good.
