The Pennington committee is responsible for investigating service and volunteering opportunities in the surrounding community and presenting them to the Senate. The Senate will then determine which programs to designate as the Pennington's Committee priority focus of the Pennington's Program. The committee will then organize he delivery of student services to the selected program. The committee is also in charge with the duty to seek out and take advantage of charity fundraising possibilities. With the approval of the Senate, the committee will arrange for the collection of donations, funds, goods, etc.The committee is also charged with conducting the annual review of the volunteer programs offered across the campus by the USGA and all the other University outreach programs.
