Based in regional NSW working remotely for the Darwin Convention Centre. My focus is International and National Lead qualification, Research Department Manager, allocating and overseeing projects and Lead Manager for International bidding. Liaising with Government representatives. Coordinating and participating in International client meetings. Participating in Industry Tradeshows.National and International conferences are important to the NT Economy with each delegate spending on average $2,950.00 whilst in Darwin. This last financial year saw an economic contribution via these delegates of approximately $35 million dollars. It all starts with research and identifying new business opportunities for the NT and DCC. Research is the backbone and the future success for the Darwin Convention Centre.

Begining with a Research Role, then progressing to Business Development Manager, where I held that position for 6 years. Client relationships were paramount to the business. With clients from Corporates, Associations, Government and Professional Conference Organiser markets, both nationally and internationally. My key objective was to secure conventions for the convention centre. During my time I secured over 100 conventions, with an estimated value of $11.2 million. Working at DCC was a great experience and I take with me valuable skills.
