Contracted for a couple of months while back in New Zealand. I was part of a team designing and producing techincal drawings, both exterior and interior, for a commercial swimming pool.

KEY PROJECTS:Indoor Sports Facility:- Co-led fortnightly site meetings, inspected site progress and resolved issues with Contractors for over 18 months of the construction process. - Managing a team to produce internal colour schemes and joinery.Commercial swimming pool extension and refurbishment:- Part of the team responsible for the new hydrotherapy pool and entrance. - Responsible for developing and detailing junctions of the existing and new building along a seismic gap and vapour barrier.- Collaborating in design team meetings with Structural and Mechanical Engineers.

KEY PROJECTS:Indoor Sports Facility:- Coordinated the building structure, mechanical services and electrical services documentation.- Completed the application for Building Consent and responded to RFI's. New winery production and tasting room:- Developed the initial concept into a detailed documentation package for Building Consent.- Collaborated in design team meetings and coordinated the structural, civil and electrical documents.- Liaised with the Client to develop internal fitout and joinery in the wine making labs, reception and tasting room, including selecting materials and colours. - Responded to queries during construction. Commercial swimming pool refurbishment:- Undertook a detailed condition assessment of the existing building and determined the scope of work, predominantly replacing the roof and internal vapour barrier.- Built the 3D model in Revit. - Led design team meetings with Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers.- Completed detailed documentation of the refurbishment and submitted Building Consent.- Responded to RFI's throughout construction. House Alterations and new Spa: - Liaised with the Client to confirm and develop the scope of work.- Produced sketches and documentation for the Builder.- Established the Contract between the Builder and Client.- Inspected progress on site, issued site reports, contract instructions, payment claims and conducted the Final Inspection.

Other than working on a variety of architectural projects, including those listed below, I initially was also involved in office management, including answering the office phone, sending mail, making the morning coffee, and organising professional development events.KEY PROJECTS:New commercial swimming pool: - Involved in the spatial planning and developing the form and materiality of the facility.- Built the 3D model in Revit to generate external and internal renders.- Completed detailed documentation of all external and internal details for Resource and Building Consent.- Collaborated with and coordinated structural, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pool water services documentation.- Completed detailed site observation of critical aspects of the building fabric and vapour barrier throughout construction.Supermarket extension and refurbishment:- Completed detailed documentation of the new storage area.- Submitted the compiled documents for Building Consent.- Involved in a competitive tender process, including inviting Contractors to Tender and reviewing tender submissions.- As the Engineer's Representative to the Contract, formalised contract sets, attended site meetings and responded to onsite queries, issuing instructions and inspections. Indoor Sports Facility:- Supported the development of the facility masterplan.- Built the 3D model in Revit to generate internal renders.- Collaborated in the design team meetings with the Client and other Consultants, particularly with the Structural Engineer.- Completed detailed documentation of the building envelope. Apartment and Hotel Complex:- Developed the design of the ground floor bar and reception. - Updated the drawing package as a result of Value Engineering.Bar and Restaurant Fitout:- Involved in detailing the interior fitout including the bar joinery.
