The 1,400 students enrolled at Coe make up a diverse population, representing more than 33 states and over 15 foreign countries.The Center for Creativity and Careers emphasizes the connections between liberal education and careers and between Coe College and our region, known as the Creative Corridor. Through programming including internships, grants, experiential learning opportunities, sponsored visits from entrepreneurs and innovators, and expansive partnerships with local businesses, arts organizations, and nonprofits, students will explore career options associated with all areas of study. The Center focuses on the concept of creativity—the key to innovation in the arts, technology, and business—and students will be equipped to demonstrate to employers and graduate schools the value of critical thinking, communication, independent research, and integrative learning that are the hallmarks of their liberal arts experience. The Center significantly expands Coe's connections with regional alumni and leaders of businesses and other organizations in order to assist students with planning and carrying out projects, forming professional networks, and putting their Coe experiences to work in the wider world.My job is to do research and peer advise. With research, I look for various differences in what Coe College provides for their students compared to other private colleges. This research is done, so that we can see what are some changes we can make to make more possibilities for our students in their paths to their careers after Coe. Show less

I am a crew chief. As a crew chief, I make sure that the rest of the crew are doing their jobs correctly, and if they need some guidance with learning something new or help to keep the flow going, I am there to help the other crew members. Moreover, as a crew chief and part of the crew, my job is to maintain cleanliness, take orders, and coordinate in both the dining room and drive-thru.
