About Katrina Wack

As a kid I loved taking things apart to see how they worked, or why they weren’t working. I would fix toys, games, music boxes with whatever was available. Glue, pliers, screwdrivers, and art supplies were all in my toolbox. I persevered until the item was either fixed or I realized it was beyond my youthful skills and then set about learning new skills that allowed me to accomplish more in the future.I have used that same analytic, problem-solving approach to any project that I have been given, seeing it through to completion, and maybe even improving the process along the way. I’ve been part of teams that were tasked with incorporating new technology to provide customers with cutting edge solutions tailored to their needs, earning gratitude from stakeholders, and praise from customers. I have found that I thrive on learning new skills and adapting to new challenges. In my current position I have guided co-workers through several systems upgrades, learning the tech and being known as the go-to person whenever they have a question.Along the way I have learned the art of facilitating communication between the technology experts and the end user, who may not be so tech savvy, writing clear and concise language that both parties can understand. I am equally comfortable hanging out with the tech geeks as I am with writers and artists.
