I am an experienced teacher working with over 16 years olds and young adults. I support neuro-diverse students, particularly those with language-based needs, such as dyslexia and/or EAL. I am always keen to encourage learner autonomy through building study and life skills. I also teach marketing, business and media. I like to bring practical experience to my lessons. My students describe my teaching style as ‘clear’, ‘easy to understand’ and say that I am ‘kind’ and ‘funny’. I can deliver this learning experience in on-line or face-to-face environment. I also enjoy personal and UCAS tutoring. I am qualified to assess for exam access arrangements (PAPAA), I have experience of curriculum development, assessment writing, marking, and standardising, delivering staff training on SEND, plus staff representation and mentoring.I write on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for academic and marketing literature. As a 'hobby job' I write for lifestyle magazines on wine, food and travel.
