Even as a child, I recognized the connection between the job we do and the quality of life we live and it’s no surprise that I sought the excitement of travel as a career path. Seeking more creative outlets in my daily work life, it became clear that my skills were best communicating a message through writing and design. I took on the sole marketing role at Wendy Wu Tours, a newcomer to the U.S. travel market. Four years later, I’m proud of my accomplishments including: - Implementing an inbound marketing platform from the ground up including blog posts, emails and landing pages, upping our marketing performance by more than 18% in the first quarter.- Spearheading our online and social media presence, growing our email subscriber rate from 500 to 15,000 in 3 years.- Conceptualizing, executing and distributing downloadable content such as eBooks, infographics and case studies.- Conducting detailed analysis of campaigns, instrumental for strategically planning follow up campaigns. - Designing all advertising and marketing collateral as well as company Powerpoint decks for use in public and industry presentations and webinarsI’m always looking for a new challenge to solve or opportunity to explore. Future goals include fresh experiences to write about and new messages to share through art and design.
