As the owner of three YouTube channels, and one website, I created videos and posts on a regular basis. Across these channels and websites, I focussed on the following categories: beauty and fashion, digital retouching and cooking. Each channel is specified to one of these categories, and I have a wide range of audiences who watch and engage with each one. My channels amount to over 50 000 subscribers, and over 9 000 000 video views. Each video has a different purpose, which can range from tutorials, discussions, challenges and hauls.On my most successful channel, I regularly worked with clients such as Maybelline, L'Oreal and VS Sassoon to create promotional content.Amidst my work with Maybelline on my channel, I was also a blogger for their website, M:Edition. Having done numerous posts for them, I have also been featured on their front page for my excellent review on their latest product.

In my role of Traineeship Coordinator, it is my responsibility to coordinate all processes for employment-based traineeships and apprenticeships, from business development and marketing, reviewing and signing of Training Plan Proposals, Training Plans, induction for trainees/apprentices and employees, as well as progress monitoring and finalisation of training. In this role, I work closely with many stakeholders, including employers and apprenticeship centres, and I take pride in knowing that I am the sole face regarding traineeships and apprenticeships for REACH. I also coordinate a number of classroom courses under Smart and Skilled funding, and am currently managing the online marketing for REACH (Facebook page).

As an education mentor for Wesley Mission, my main role was creating and implementing individual education plans for students in foster care. As an education mentor, I spent holistic time with a student each week to help them with their studies, and guide their learning, confidence and growth to achieve their best results. The activities and work that we did together was assessed and reported each week, to mark their progression and areas for improvement. This program was largely guided by the student, so that they felt comfortable and involved in their learning, as opposed to strict tutoring.

In my most extensive customer service role, it was my duty to provide excellent customer service, seeking to find all solutions to a customer’s ideas or issues. The daily tasks that would take place in this role include cash handling, merchandising and planning of stock and displays, answering and initiating phone calls with customers, as well as ensuring workplace health and safety. I also performed extra roles, where I co-ordinated staff during stocktake and refit periods, as well as co-ordinating the ‘Back to School’ period, where I organised stock and services to meet the high demand.
