I really enjoy working at Old Navy. It is a very fast-paced environment so despite only being there for two months, I have learned a lot and improved my skills. I was able to focus on my customer service skills and really fine-tune my my ability to engage customers in the Old Navy atmosphere. I worked as a cashier most days, ringing up upwards of 250-300 customers per shift. My drawer was always balanced and correctly recorded.

I started at Bob Evans as a hostess. I learned to multitask and memorize which tables were open, busy, or needed to be cleaned. After a few months, I was promoted to carry-out. I took orders on the phone and in person, while also fulfilling the orders already placed. At the beginning of 2018, I was promoted to serving. This position really improved my skills. I was able to take care of up to 8 tables at a table, while keeping customers in all parties happy. Teamwork was a major part of this job, as helping out coworkers while doing your own tasks was a regular occurrence. This job gave me a new perspective on customer service and really helped to improve my communication skills.
