At Sainsbury's magazine I was responsible for the non-food and lifestyle pages of the title, alongside the Deputy Editor and Editor. Duties included: Writing and compiling regular pages for the magazine, such as the trends section and the calendar.Commissioning and editing beauty, health and fashion features.Writing travel reviews.Interviewing celebrities and experts. Maintaining relationships with PRs and regular contributors to the magazine, as well as representing the magazine at press events. Liaising with the art team about product, lifestyle and real-life shoots. Reading proofs and ensuring accuracy and relevance of copy at each stage of the editorial process.
