What’s my story? Well, if you took a look at my resume, you might be confused. But trust me, all of this has shaped me into the recruiting expert who can help your team reduce time to fill and increase quality of hire by creating a more efficient, human candidate experience—from job posts to interview skills.I started as Monster.com’s first social media hire, where I learned the ropes of HR tech and the relationship between candidates and employer needs. I chased the C-suite dream because I thought I had to. Once I climbed to Chief Marketing Officer, I quickly realized I'm not about titles. I’m about doing the work. Give me a challenge, a pen, or a blank document, and I’m in my zone.From there, I became a Marketing Director and Managing Editor of a blog all about recruiting. All I did was talk to smart recruiting teams about how they solved talent acquisition challenges, then wrote about it or did webinars with them. My curiosity for doing the work led me to become a Technical Copywriter for Fortune 500 companies through my role at Randstad Sourceright. Fast forward to now. I run Three Ears Media, where I train recruiting teams, speak at events, and consult on everything from job posts to interview processes and hiring manager relationships. The most interesting part of my job? There’s no one-size-fits-all in hiring. My experience, from local shops to Fortune 100s, equips me to design simple, practical solutions tailored to your recruiting process. Thinking back, the best education of all to build Three Ears Media has been looking for a job. I know what it feels like to work on a resume only to submit it into a black hole.
