About Katrina K.

I was diagnosed with epilepsy after taking a tonic clonic (grand mal) seizure at age 2. As I grew up I tried numerous anti-seizure medications, however epilepsy continued to be a significant part of my life. So in 2012 I decided to pursue having brain surgery and began writing a blog, Enduring Epilepsy, to share my story & speak out.Now, I hope to be an advocate for other patients. Often people don't discuss epilepsy, so there is a lack of awareness. Many people still believe myths about what epilepsy is or don't know how to respond to a seizure. I hope by establishing the Enduring Epilepsy Foundation as a non-profit and sharing my story I can help to educate the public and offer support to others with seizures.——The foundation does not accept solicitations
