Caseworker
Current- Assess child care applications to determine eligibility for new fee subsidy clients. Interview new clients while analyzing and verifying the information they have provided. Ensure prompt follow up in collecting.
- Manage a caseload to ensure annual reviews are completed and continued eligibility is approved for existing clients
- Work with the Ontario Child Care Management System (OCCMS) to enter case notes for clients documenting all conversations, approvals, communication with service providers regarding care, referrals etc.
- Update the Digital File Room (DFR) to ensure all documents received are filed correctly
- Update the Operator Portal (OPR) to ensure any new or updated approvals are added in a timely manner. Also work to maintain placements for sites on my caseload by completing monthly OPR cleanups to make sure service.
- Provide excellent customer service to fee subsidy clients from their intake interview through to their annual reviews and at any interactions in between. Working to respond to any queries in a timely manner and.
