Cardinal Peak is an engineering services firm that helps our customers bring Internet-of-Things and Video/Audio products to market. We have deep engineering expertise designing and developing hardware, firmware and embedded software, networking protocols, video and audio processing algorithms, mobile and web apps, and cloud infrastructure.In addition to supporting our CEO, I manage all day-to-day office operations.

In my role as the Administrative Assistant / Front Office Manager, I juggled a number of responsibilities:- I managed 100+ families, 150 students, and a staff of 36- I created processes, systems, directories, and communication systems- I served as the first point of contact for all medical emergencies- Other tasks included: calendar management, event planning, office management, unclogging toilets, locating lunches, feeding hungry children, giving hugs as needed, and knowing the answers to the many questions directed at me.

In addition to stocking the shelves, cleaning the bathrooms, running cash registers, and providing fun and friendly service, Mates:- schedule and manage a crew of 70+ people.- resolve customer queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.- screen and interview potential new hires.- compute daily financial metrics and 'balance the books.'- oversee general operations.

Wrote SAS codes to provide analytics on sales and marketing trends in the pharmaceutical industry.

Developed computers curriculum for K-8 students.Taught computers courses for K-8 students.Directed the after-school program for approximately 50 kids each day from 3-6 p.m.Created and directed an extracurricular choir.Researched and applied for grants to enhance the school library.Installed a new library card catalog database.
