I possess a MASc in Environmental Engineering (Water) from University of Waterloo in Canada in the Collaborative Water Program. I completed my Bachelor in Chemical Engineering from Aarhus University in Denmark. I also have 5+ years of experience in managing engineering projects through academics, the Engineering Consulting firms Rambøll, Niras and Sweco, and the Region of Waterloo. In these roles I have participated in all project phases from start-up through to completion, where I have been part of, for example, phases I, II, and III environmental site assessments, scopes, scheduling, budgeting, field inspections, fieldwork, analyzing, tenders, design, communication, and report writings. I have also been assisting project manager and project manager on multiple projects from small to large scale both in Denmark and international projects. Additionally, in all of these roles I have built relationships with diverse clients and colleagues and communicated with them both written and verbal. Volunteering is also very important to me and through Young Water Professional (YWP), the University of Waterloo, American Field Service (AFS), Children International Summer Village (CISV), and Engineers Without Boarders (EWB), I have held several leadership positions for more than 9 years. I am therefore also comfortable interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. Currently I have been to more than 50 countries, where I have been working in, for example, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Japan, Spain, and Norway.I am pursuing my goal to work in Engineering Consulting firms and I would love to help out in projects and issues that have a global environmental impact. I am also very open to work around the world on projects with traveling time, and I am always very interested in making new connections.
