I have been working with strategic planning, communication and brand strategy since 2010 on both company and agency side, residing in both Ho Chi Minh City, New York and Copenhagen - working across an array of global and local brands and non-profit organisations. Strengthening the position of brands and organisations with a strong human purpose (be it to benefit people and/or planet) has always been my main professional - as well as personal - motivation. A drive which has only intensified over recent years due to the climate crisis becoming so incredibly evident.I believe we must all do what we can to accelerate climate action and put our individual skills to good use… In my case, that would be to utilize over a decade of expertise within strategic communications. In its very simplest form, strategic planning is a discipline that utilises and combines facts, human insights, and market context to form powerful narratives. Narratives that – when creatively executed right - can ultimately challenge mindsets and generate action. And hence, strategic planning can indeed be a powerful tool to accelerate behavioural change - and ultimately contribute to climate action.To mimic the words of Sir David Attenborough in his film A Life on Our Planet: "Saving our planet is now a communications challenge. We know what to do, we just need the will."
