Responsible for global business success of Inspection and Sorting products and technology at Marel. Product range includes Inspection, StreamLines, Weighing, Grading, Batching, Robotics and End of line. Markets include Poultry, Meat, Fish, Plant Based Proteins and Pet Foods. Leading a team of ~150 professionals across Innovation, Product Management and Service located primarily in Iceland, Denmark and UK. Serving over 30 markets in 6 continents.

Responsible for strategic and operational planning for the Cross-industry business unit within Marel. Led a team of several professionals and served as a functional lead for the Product Management department. Worked closely with the Cross-industry product groups on formulating strategies and plans. Contributed to several organizational development projects including the establishment of Retail & Food service Solutions within Marel.

Seasonal role teaching “Management” to BSc students in Business Administration, Economics and Engineering. Subjects include International Management, Change Management, Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Organizational Structure and Behavior, Planning and Organizing.

- Supported senior management with developing and implementing the long-term strategic vision, at both portfolio and product level, across the Cardiovascular and Metabolism franchise by delivering foundational customer insights, competitor intelligence and strategic analytics to inform decision making and to evaluate the potential risks and outcomes of these decisions. Specifically focused on accelerating profitable brand growth at the global level for Forxiga (dapagliflozin) in Type 2 Diabetes- Constructed the business cases and long-range forecasts informing strategic investment decisions, spanning the next ten years, for Forxiga and other cardiovascular and metabolism molecules in clinical development. Part of the team working behind the positive late-stage-portfolio-committee investment decision in 2016 to expand Forxiga to Chronic Kidney Disease and Chronic Heart Failure. This has led to positive groundbreaking results that have recently been published (August 2019).- Led the annual long-range strategic planning process (demand, supply, resources) as well as the performance management in collaboration with the global commercial team and top 12 markets (countries). Utilized advanced analytics, i.e. regression models to build short-term outlooks as well

- Responsible for developing pricing and contracting strategies for late-stage developments and in-line brands within oncology, hematology and rheumatology for optimized patient access- Part of a launch excellence team which successfully introduced 8 new products to the market (within the course of 2 years)- Local project lead in a pan-European project exploring innovative value-based pricing models.

Managed a budget of €200.000, sponsored by selected companies and funds in Denmark, to finance the largest case competition in the world (organized by top performing graduate students at Copenhagen Business School for top performing undergraduate students from 12 Universities around the globe). Further, handled project management for a spin-off competition for Nordic graduate- and undergraduate students called Beat the Elite (now CCC Open).
