I assist Sarah Turner during the summer at festivals and occasionally at Christmas fairs. This consists mostly of setting up and maning the stall/stand but can also be prepping cans for her artwork and sorting other materials.

I run workshops on behalf of Sarah Turner at schools, help set up and run exhibitions and craft stands as well as making products and helping with commissions.

I worked with Dr Jo Ray and her masters students on the 5 week module Consuming Nature.I co-ran and assessed the project, offering tutorials, stimulating discussions and giving feedback

I am a senior Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University, working within the Product Design Department.My role took on a variety of forms with mw predominantly working as a studio tutor helping students to understand the design process and putting it into practice. I taught specific model making classes and supported practical work within the workshop. My role allowed me to work with a variety of students from first year undergraduate through to masters level across the 3 courses that the department runs. I also worked as a dissertation/thesis tutor for final year students where I supported their understanding and helped them develop their ideas in order to produce the required body of work. My role allowed me to take up the mantel of sustainability champion for the department, as well as representing the department within the student and staff wellbeing working group.

I assist the first year Furniture and Product Design students in their studio days, helping with projects, drawing, CAD and prototyping skills.

Bungeefit it a fun and unusual for of exercising. You strap on a harness and get clipped to a bungee cord attached to the ceiling of the studio. The classes then comprise of a mixture of aerobics, HIIT, dance and acrobatics all low impact.As an instructor my job was to prepare and run classes lasting 45 minutes ranging from beginners through to intermediate.

As a Student Ambassador I helped on open days, promoting my course and university. I assisted with events, telling visiting schools about my university experience. I also helped during course interviews, looking after the applicants, giving facility tours and answering questions about my course and the university.

I worked as a teaching assistant/ temporary teacher in Nottingham Girls Academy on the placement scheme Students in Classrooms run by the university. I have learnt different ways of interacting with young people to help convey the same information

I worked for Designer Sarah Turner as her intern. Whilst with Sarah I got to design and make products, interacting with customers and helping the projects progress. I helped to set up and manage exhibitions from Tent, during London Design Week, to Nottingham Light Night. We also ran many workshops with all ages from primary age through to adults.

I worked for Designer Max McMurdo as a personal assistant, creative thinker, manual labourer and designer at his business Reestore. This consisted of me designing and making prototypes and products for his business. Interacting with customers and taking notes during customer visits. Assisting with product photography and interacting with suppliers and contractors.

I ran a holiday club for children during the school holidays, organising activities and generally looking after the children.

I worked at the local farm park looking after the animals, monitoring the climbing wall, the paddle boats, and all the other adventure activities, and also working in the kitchens serving and preparing food.
