Implemented and built YFU’s brand equity and visibility with ultimate responsibility for global public relations, social media, marketing and communications. Acted as the standard-bearer for the global brand manual and its use, working with, and train national organizations’ brand ambassadors, counseling the ambassadors to ensure compliance with brand standards and mitigate brand dilution.Developed and implemented an effective global marketing, public relations, and social media communication plan that captures in one voice YFU’s mission and brand. Overseeing a $200,000 budget, three staff members and seasonal interns. Developed and provided in-person and online trainings on all aspects of the brand, brand implementation, and change management. Developed network wide capacity in the field of external outreach, including trainings and project management. Responsible for developing concepts on how international outreach can be carried out. Overall responsible for developing an online training system, including courses, content, management and evaluation.

Conceptualized, lead and managed comprehensive projects to drive the growth and accelerate the sustainability of national organizations. Aspects of projects involved functions such as planning, assessment, coaching, monitoring and providing consultative services. I did on-site consultations to our existing organizations, including assessment audits, needs identification, planning facilitation, improvement plan development, and staff/leadership volunteer training. I also provided direction and advice to organizations developing and mentoring new YFU organizations and delivered needed services to new organizations. For the YFU network I developed and lead major international projects and systems in areas such as marketing, knowledge management, training, quality management. I initiated plans, created related tools, provided trainings, identified and promoted resources, established/monitored processes and provided reports and updates to a variety of audiences. I also prepared analytical reports that synthesized organizational/programmatic activity, identified internal and external trends, and presented strategic issues and options to our network and governing bodies.

Responsible for the development of the organization, its results and financial stability, including pricing and monitoring of relevant key performance indicators, turnover of 6 million SEK, increased turnover by 14%.
