Growing up in the heart of L.A., and attending HBCU Langston University, and later attending Azusa World Ministry Training Institute, has given her a broad prospective of her societal responsibilities. Kathryn recognized that her desire to be a servant, coupled with her entrepreneurial spirit could purposefully integrate the world with God’s business! Her passion for purposeful living prompted the creation of Black Women of Faith. BWF partners with not-for-profit agencies, to provide public relations, strategic planning, diversity training, and collaborative project building. Services are provided through mentoring, workshops, and support services. She has helped more than 50 companies acquire funding through proposal creations and sponsorships. As writing proves to be an effective ministry, it enables her to reach the world with her message of anti-racism! She has been involved in the distribution of more than 30,000 news stories regarding racism and discrimination which have received Global TV and Radio recognition. She utilizes her platform to integrate intellectual and community organizing skills to bring awareness to local, national and global injustices. Katt holds a seat on the Judicial Advisory Board (which is responsible for vetting superior judge applications for Maricopa County) and on the Justice Pillar Committee for the AZ Governors Commission for African American Affairs. These platforms fuel her power in politics of the Local community. Katt has recently acquired ownership of BLMTV, a TV Network and media production company which produce sitcoms and films as relates to the Black American experience.
