I have been a surgical tech for 15 yrs. in that time I have specialized in CV, PV, Ortho, Plastics, and currently perform the lead tech position in ENT for the last 10yrs. I also oversee the SP department at my current facility to ensure our sets are prepared for the next day. Part of my duties at my current employment include picking cases and performing turnovers. I am part of a team that is self managed to provide our own breaks and adequate help for case loads throughout the day.I believe what makes a great place of employment is team work and the ability to rely on each other. I also believe that one of the key values that can set a one facility apart from another is being family oriented. This is true in both the work environment and patient care. I strive to always put both my family and my patients families first.
