As the lead copywriter at OCP, I wrote copy in English and Spanish for virtually all marketing communications. Besides the typical print pieces (ads, press releases, self-mailers, etc.), I worked in the digital space, writing website content, emails, video scripts and more. Besides writing, I served as project manager for most of the projects that I wrote copy for, ensuring that they stayed within budget and on schedule. Since my previous position involved copyediting and proofreading, I was also the technical pair of eyes that reviews the copy at every stage, guaranteeing that all content is error-free.After being with the company for several years, I had an exceptionally high level of product and process knowledge and was considered a valuable resource myself. I was a data expert in OCP's project to modernize all data points, providing critical and very detailed information about the various pieces of data I worked with.Other responsibilities included strategizing with the larger marketing team on campaign development, training a contract writer on company brand and style and loading product descriptions to the website using basic HTML.
