Current· Primary responsibility for case management and providing legal guidance to clients, including all case strategy planning and decisions; litigation planning, including developing strategy for litigation proceedings and resolution; arguing motions; and case resolution, including settlement negotiations and mediation.· Significant experience researching and drafting clear and concise legal guidance and opinions, including in areas of uncertain or evolving legal trends and issues, for business leaders, legal departments, and courts.· Effective leader of team of legal professionals, including managing, training, coaching, and mentoring of associates, staff attorneys, and support staff utilizing collaborative style. · Build strong relationship with clients and act as strategic partner to clients, in order to ensure they are protected and well positioned from a legal standpoint, including making significant recommendations to senior members of clients’ business and legal teams regarding litigation strategy, reputational risk, risk mitigation, and legal and regulatory trends. · Involved in firm management, including serving on Associates Committee (overseeing and conducting associate evaluation process), Space Planning Committee (assisting with determinations regarding office space), Charitable Foundation (determining firm’s charitable donations), and Retreat Committee (planning firm retreat), as well as active participant in Women’s Initiative, including leading mentoring circle for younger women lawyers, and active participant in recruiting activities.· Frequent presenter on topics of personal and professional development.· Pro Bono service in divorce matters, capital murder appeals, and general civil and domestic relations matters.
