As part of the sales team I book all segments of groups from social gatherings, corporate groups to conventions. Work closely with team putting in place processes and structure for inquiries and bookings. Work closely with sales team in terms of turnover processes, building room blocks and communications to clients. Detail all groups that are booked from sales team. Work closely with operations in regards to information distribution and handing over groups while on-site.

Helped to lead the transition of property to the future vision of a luxury ski resort destination. Organized and put in processes for an events department. Worked with team service standards for events with presentations and staff training. Programed Delphi/Salesforce creating menus and pricing for event orders and billing. Assisted with creating new property events and activations throughout the resort. Collaborated on renovations of existing event spaces and future event spaces.

Planned alumni events locally and across the United States, securing venues, on-site audio visual needs and catering needs. Prepared and created all guests lists, printed event materials for alumni events and also managed off-campus non-alum related events in regards to information distribution and all ticketing functions.Lead Database Manager. Maintained all personal records for Alumni and Friends of the College. Worked closely with IT to create reports and improve processes.Managed all mailings, registrations, payments and volunteers for Homecoming and Commencement. Assisted with on-site event management of all Homecoming and Commencement activities.Coordinated and managed guest rooms for the Smith Alumni house and Gelston Guest Rooms.

Managed corporate meetings for large nationally known organizations to local small organizations along with private political groups. Managed social events such as fundraising galas and private weddings. Fielded inquiry calls and booked function space for all groups along with facilitating the distribution of all vital communications throughout the hotel sometimes including sister properties of Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Grand Rapids when appropriate.
