I am now, not only comfortable in an interviewing setting but I have also enhanced my already strong communication skills even further. This is an aspect of my experience that I believe sets me apart from the average graduate. I had the great fortune of having the opportunity to be a volunteer on the annual Dublin Dioceses Pilgrimage, assisting the sick and elderly pilgrims. I was awarded a bronze medal for my three years of service in 2019. This rewarding experience not only strengthened emotional intelligence and compassion but also was a credit to my team working skills.Last year, I acted as a community mentor to a class of 30 neurodivergent 16 year old students in my local community school Ballinteer Community College. As community mentor I conducted 6 workshops and lectures highlighting the importance of further education, sharing my own academic journey as a student with Dyslexia and ADHD. This was an initiative to help students who may not see a future for themselves in third level education assisting them to find a suitable path to upskilling whether that be a Diploma or a degree. It was empowering sharing my journey and helping young students see a future for themselves despite the adversities they face. This without a doubt elevated my presentation skills to an even higher and professional standard.Recently I completed a short term contract at Post Production Studio JAMVFX - as LTO Processor. This was certainly out of my comfort zone but I learnt a lot about the niche world of IT archiving processes within the film industry. My basic IT skills have been boosted to an industry MCR standard! On top of all that I had the privilege of observing how the talented compositors and 3D artists visually enhance their clients projects. A very cool place to start my career in London.Now I am working part time at C-Screens as an Executive Assistant to the COO/CEO Richard & Robert Hicks. C-Screens is an innovative working environment I am grateful to be apart of this team.
