At Camp Chief Ouray, I typically led 3-night backpacking trips in Rocky Mountain National Park. My group consisted of 7-10 teenagers; I taught them basic backcountry survival skills, the principles of Leave No Trace and how to incorporate them into daily life, and worked to establish strong group ties. Above all, my responsibility was to keep the kids safe while having fun. I was responsible for planning meals, knowing trails, and making sure everyone in my group felt included.

At Title Nine, I worked to engage customers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner. This started by greeting customers as they walked in the store, and asking if they needed help finding anything. Among other things, I gave fashion and fitting advice, helped find clothes for specific occasions, and aimed to make a lifelong customer. I focused on getting the customer the clothes she needed, not just selling aimlessly.
