I began my public safety career as a dispatcher/call-taker in a consolidated 911 communications center in Southern Oregon in 1991 and have been in this field ever since. I love the people and the work! Learning new skills, techniques, and systems intrigues me and I enjoy sharing my knowledge. I strive to improve our working environment, systems, and programs while encouraging, fun, friendship, and participation in the people I work with.I recently stepped into my role as President of the WA Chapter of APCO-NENA and am excited for the upcoming two years. With my unique knowledge of 911 operations and 911 technology, I hope to give back to our members by expanding our knowledge, opening our minds, and encouraging fellowship.
