I manage and lead on the development and execution of Clan Childlaw's internal and external communications.

Scottish Mentoring Network is the Intermediary organisation for mentoring in Scotland. Our membership includes organisations from the third sector to business and education.In my role as Marketing, Communications and Support Lead, I have responsibility for the processing all finances, and support my colleagues with the administration of our services such as training and Quality Standard. My day to day work involves supporting the members of Scottish Mentoring Network from the initial enquiry stage, through processing membership applications and checking in with them when they renew their membership. I take a service design approach to the membership journey at SMN and implement ongoing changes to make the membership journey as smooth as possible. I am responsible for the communications and marketing at Scottish Mentoring Network, including the development of social media and running online campaigns. In 2019 spoke at the Scottish Parliament on our #MentoringWorks campaign, which showcased members of SMN's mentoring stories. I am the team member responsible for organising and delivering the SMN annual conference each year, and have experience of running online and in person events. I have developed our marketing and communications and engagement strategies in collaboration with our CEO to help set the strategic direction of SMN, focusing particularly in the area of digital marketing and engagement with a range of potential members, partner organisations and funders.

At YCSA, we support and empower young people through a personal, social and educational development process, to enable them to reach their potential and become active and valued members of a diverse society.Youth Community Support Agency has been delivering support services to young people and the community in Glasgow since 1995.We intensively support over 400 young people (aged between 10 and 25) each year with a variety of programmes and interventions through our five support services. Our targeted support work includes individual intensive support, group work, therapies, residentials, programmes, family interventions, outreach work and volunteering . We provide holistic support through a variety of in-house services to ensure young people have maximum and effective support. The main focus of our work is to engage those young people deemed ‘hard to reach’, at risk of social exclusionAs well as managing our busy office, I have developed and now manage our volunteering service. I created a variety of volunteering roles which respond to the needs of our young people. I am also the lead worker with YCSA's Youth Panel, which is a group of young people who represent YCSA and inform the programme of activities we run. I am a member of the management team and regularly deal with financial, HR and compliance matters. Through my experience working here I have developed strong leadership and management skills, having overcome a number of challenging situations. I have had training in a number of fields during my work at YCSA, including introduction to CBT, Volunteer Management, NLP, Child Protection, Social Media, Emergency First Aid at Work, Fire Marshal, Hate Crime and Third Party Reporting, Dyslexia and Working Memory and Universal Credit.

I worked alongside other team members to offer excellent service to Oliver Bonas customers and ensure that the store is kept running to consistently high standards. Working on the cash desk and processing deliveries are all part of this role. I had key holding responsibilities and was frequently responsible for cashing up tills, reporting discrepancies and correctly banking daily profits. I was also responsible for tracking the conversion rates of our customers and feeding this data back to the management team.

General administrative duties, customer interfacing, B2B liaison, overall responsibility for health and safety of guests and employees. Fire drills, health and hygiene checks, book keeping and up keep of financial records were all part of my responsibilities.
