Profile bio

About Katya Hott

I am a UXer with experience growing user research disciplines from scratch, scaling UX operations, and managing product designers and user researchers. My UX career first focused on designing for education: how kids learn, how teachers teach, and how the humans behind educational institutions work. Most recently, I left education tech to work in the fascinatingly complex world of live event ticketing.I care a lot about human-centered design, leading with empathy, and making spaces inclusive. I speak conversational Korean, better than conversational Spanish, and am a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. šŸ¤™

Listed skills include Instructional Design, E Learning, Curriculum Design, Instructional Technology, and 33 others.
