I am Mexican and have been residing in Spain since November 2007. I studied Communication Sciences at the Universidad Intercontinental (UIC) and specialized in Marketing at the Universidad Iberoamericana. In 2007, I came to Spain on a scholarship to pursue a master’s degree in Multimedia Applications for the Internet at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), thanks to my work at Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX). During my time at UPV, I met Professor Avelino Corma, then director of the Instituto de Tecnología Química (ITQ-UPV-CSIC). He believed in my master’s project, “PEMEX RH online,” which presented the first videoconference of my project, marking the start of a four-year research project between PEMEX and ITQ.I married a Spaniard, leading me to settle permanently in Spain and start a new job at ITQ with Professor Corma, who entrusted me with creating the Institute’s image. I designed the logo, established branding guidelines, worked on the website design, conducted content research, and handled other communication and design responsibilities. I also began designing covers for international scientific journals, which I greatly enjoy. So far, over thirty of my designs have been published. You can see some of them on my website https://kcb-studio.comSince July 2024, I have had the opportunity to improve my position at ITQ, working exclusively for HG-energy, the research group of Hermenegildo García and Ana Primo, where I currently work.Before ITQ and PEMEX, I worked at the international public relations agency Edelman, gaining skills in presenting communication and marketing strategies.Prior to that, I worked at TV Azteca as a culture and entertainment reporter. Earlier, at the Cineteca Nacional, I gained experience in programming and public relations. I also did short-term work for companies such as Televisa, Burson Marsteller, Colegio de Arquitectos, and Aqlara.I am passionate about communication, image, design, marketing, and science. My bosses and colleagues have greatly contributed to my professional and personal growth.
