PA and Office Manager for an Advertising and Marketing company. Duties included: arranging and catering for meetings; working on a switchboard; ordering office supplies and equipment; liaising with IT support and Building Management; aiding client and account managers with tasks such as editing website content using CSM systems, testing websites and proof-reading direct literature ads. Independent tasks included: building a database of contacts; sourcing products for photo shoots; making sales calls and sending out monthly newsletters to clients. I was also in charge of client domain names, maintaining the invoice database and our online recruitment. Personal assistant duties included: overseeing accounts, editing pitches on Microsoft PowerPoint and InDesign. I also oversaw expenses and researched eco friendly office suppliers.

Duties included: providing physical and emotional support to people with disabilities. I re-modeled the IT learning suite to ensure it was person-centered and progressive to allow members to take exams in IT. I arranged courses and activities to help them learn new skills in IT and Art. I also provided admin support to the day centre management.AchievementsWhile working at Dogstar I was asked by the MD to come up with suggestions for creative marketing ideas to celebrate the company's 15th anniversary. From the list I proposed the staff as a whole chose the idea of a fifteen month calendar, each month referencing a quirky event from the past fifteen years. I was asked to manage the project in its entirety, including mail outs to existing and prospective clients. On completion I sent out a press release and BDI featured our calendar in their weekly email newsletter.While working at Abstracts I helped develop a new client database which meant researching prospective clients and making preliminary calls introducing the company and setting up meetings for the Director of Digital Marketing. The result meant the company signed up more clients.Whilst working for Scope I researched other day care centres to see what they offered their service users and as a result decided to remodel the IT suite and to enrol interested users onto IT courses designed for people with disabilities. With my tutoring and their courses it meant that service users could aim to gain certificates in IT through college exams.
