*Responsible for the delivery of a broad range of programs within the core program area of Fine Arts and Media. *By personal example, helps interpret the quality of BGCD values to members, parents and staff. *Plans, develops, implements and assesses all programs and activities and supervises the program and the staff.*Program Management*Responsible for oversight of all aspects of the Fine Arts and Media program including, but not limited to, program planning and implementation, maintaining program budget, implementing Club policies and practices and securing additional program resources when appropriate.*Evaluate programs on a continual basis to ensure programs/activities respond to member needs and address their diversity and demonstrate high quality via outcome assessments.*Ensure the successful delivery of Fine Arts and Media grant funding requirements, including compliance and reporting on grant outcomes.*Collaborate with area organizations and local volunteers to meet Fine Arts and Media program needs of members. Coordinate partnerships and consultants who can offer instruction, support and guidance to members.*Ensures that members actively participate in the Fine Arts and Media program; seek advice/guidance from staff in regard to problems; and receive caring, respect and recognition for their efforts.*Responsible for the development and implementation of collaborative programs and events both within the Club and area organizations and local volunteers.*Demonstrate leadership to assure conduct, safety and development of members.*Uses positive, constructive methods of behavior guidance/positive reinforcement and ensures that all staff does the same.*Increase visibility of Fine Arts and Media programs via posting for daily schedule, announcements of upcoming events and the dissemination of timely information through mailings, fliers, social media and additional media resources.

*Manage daily operations at a paint-your-own pottery studio including sales, party and event coordination, inventory, glazing and firing ceramic pieces, and teaching clients (from toddlers to grandparents) step by step how to create masterful works of art.*Develop curriculum for weekly art classes to include pottery painting techniques, canvas painting, acrylics and watercolor, clay building, mosaics, tie dye, glass fusing, sculpture, jewelry design and drawing.*Oversee children's birthday parties and adult classes, workshops and events.*Teach summer art camps for children (generally aged 6-14)*Teaching canvas painting classes for children and adults*Create hand painting custom artworks for clients per order

*Independently teach children's drawing classes following a pre-determined curriculum.*Teach children aged 3-11 years old.*Manage classroom, enforcing classroom rules and appropriate behavior.*Provide a fun, yet professional environment in which children can call upon their inner creativity while also learning the fundamentals of fine art.
