As a platform expert, I help current and prospective learners worldwide develop their IT skills. With deep listening, I assess their learning objectives and determine courses that will help them achieve their goals. I guide them through our onboarding process and resolve their technical issues. I use meticulous attention to detail to evaluate new product launches, reviewing for errors, and reporting findings to our Development Team. I pro-actively seek out obstacles that inhibit the user experience, ensuring accessibility and ease of use for every learner. I’m an organizer of internal team trainings that have bolstered our support skills and improved our customer satisfaction scores.

As a professional drummer, I had the pleasure of touring the east/west coast, and mid-west regions of the United States. I received gear endorsements. In 2019, we were selected to headline the main stage at Dunk!Fest, an annual post-rock festival held in Zottegem, Belgium. With record label support, we were flown to Europe for an extensive touring. This was a life long goal that many said was impossible to achieve. Hard work and perseverance made my dream come true!

I learned all aspects of the recruitment and selection process in order to provide superior support for our HR Generalists. This included managing jobs posts, performing outreach at career fairs, reviewing applications and supplemental questions, scheduling interviews, processing I-9's, and setting up new employee orientation. I provided additional support for our Learning & Development Team where I assigned employee trainings and updated their certifications through the LMS. Additional tasks included managing the life cycle of employee files and setting up performance reviews for city department managers. I excelled in this role and was frequently requested to assist with administrative tasks at the City Manager's Office.

In this role, I was responsible for coordinating our annual client conference which attracted attendees from all over the country. I scouted prospective venues and hotels for event hosting and successfully negotiated down venue rental, hotel room blocks, and food & beverage costs, saving our CEO several thousand dollars. I also helped to establish the Eugene, OR satellite office where I ran day to day operations, and booked travel arrangements for my team when we traveled to HQ.

In this role I fielded calls and responded to emails from Symantec employees. I processed employee bonuses, referrals, resignations, and VISA requests. I verified employment for lenders and recruiters, and resolved PTO concerns for International employees.

My primary focus in this role was tracking marketing activities via responses from prospective Enterprise customers looking for software solutions in data recovery and storage. Utilizing Salesforce, I filtered and qualified responses, cleaned up the data, and handed leads off to our Sales Team. I scheduled notifications to follow up with reps to ensure they were hitting their touchpoint metrics and scheduled reminders for them accordingly. In this role, I also provided Salesforce training for my former Frontline Sales team.
