CMF & Surface Pattern Designer for Footwear, Apparel and Soft Goods. Champion for environmental protection & circular design. Lover of insects. Dedicated design Manager, Educator and Mentor. With 2 decades of product design for mass market, my skills and specialties cover a lot of ground. I am known for my use of pattern, color and visual storytelling as it relates to creating collections, whether they be macro, as in large collections of soft goods or apparel products, or micro collection of prints created and coordinated to merchandise together seamlessly. The big picture view guides my decision making both in my work and in my student and mentee feedback. I enjoy working with start-ups as well as established brands, and mentoring young & entry level designers through my online surface design courses with the Rhode Island School of Design, Lasell University, Domestika and in my private coaching practice. I regularly exhibited my surface designs at Surtex, BluePrint Live and Showcase.
