I am currently a senior at William Jewell College studying Healthcare Leadership with plans to graduate in July of 2023. I am very open to many different positions and companies as my passion is helping people and making the world a better place.I have taken on leadership roles for my community and school. In college I became team captain of my golf team, a representative for the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and President of Delta Zeta sorority.These accomplishments not only describe the type of person I am but also show the type of person I want to continue to be. I love being a liaison between workers and administration, listening to people and helping them with any issue that is occurring, and creating new ideas for my organization or business to succeed. Beyond my leadership skills, being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 11 made me realize that I want to pursue a career in healthcare or helping people overcome medical challenges. Everyone has struggles or hardships in life and I want people to know that they can still be whoever they want in life even with, in my case, a chronic illness.
