• Design and conduct primary and secondary research into the role private capital can play in reducing domestic food loss and waste.• Conceive and manage 6 market research projects including development, fundraising, personnel, budgeting, financial oversight, content strategy, and partnerships across industries with a combined budget of over 1.2 mn.• Develop business strategy, HR policies, contracts, and operational budgets. As the Research & Expert Services Manager I work with the CEO to develop the company's business strategy, formalize operational processes, and build the Boundless team. I effectively manage diverse teams of advisors, analysts, researchers, and funding partners to develop and execute multi-faceted and action-oriented research projects to address a lack of knowledge and financial services resources for private investors in the areas of food & ag, energy, wildlife conservation, education, labor rights, and air quality. In addition to producing research reports we work to design and implement solutions to the various issues we address. In my role as a Researcher I co-authored a private industry report titled Investable Opportunities in Food Waste Solutions including an overview of the industry, recommendations for private capital, segmentation of business models and solution types, an assessment of impact potential based on social and environmental indicators, and a recommendation for future research.

I successfully research, design, and implement projects to reduce U.S. food loss and waste, including efforts at large events resulting in the diversion of over 6,000 healthy meals to food insecure populations. In 2015 I launched our summer intern program, identifying, training, and managing meaningful contributions to our research and programs. In conjunction with USDA and EPA I have driven progress for the creation and funding of a national virtual resource center for food loss and waste along with 12 other national organizations.

Through this internship I gained valuable insight to the coffee production industry as well as the international trading environment. As a team manager for the Southwestern Men's Lacrosse team I assisted at practices by organizing equipment and setting up drills. During games I managed the clock, score board, and statistics book. I also filmed games and traveled with the team as needed. This opportunity introduced me to the sport of lacrosse and as well as the general management of collegiate sports.
