About Katy Jones Garrity
Katy Garrity has spent over twenty years producing content for non-fiction outlets including National Geographic, Discovery, ID, Smithsonian Networks, and the History Channel. She has field directed shoots around the world – flying over an erupting volcano in Hawaii, filming airports in Moscow, and traversing mines in the Chilean Atacama Desert. In 2022, she completed archival producing on the six-part Emmy-nominated series "Human Footprint" and the three-part ID series "The Tetris Murders." She's also provided her archival and producing talents to multi-media museum spaces including National Geographic's ground-breaking "Beyond King Tut", Smithsonian's "Pause & Replay," and the White House Historical Museum's new interactive location "The People's House." She is the founder of Cabbage Leaf Pictures, a boutique production support company offering archival producing, research, and other production support for a variety of content.
