Rx Partnership is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that increases medication access for vulnerable Virginians and strengthens the health safety net.Worked with staff and the Board of Directors to advance the organization’s individual and corporate fundraising strategies. Played a key role in the successful growth of Rx Partnership’s ability to provide free or low-cost medications to clinic partners across the Commonwealth by identifying, cultivating and building an individual donor base with a focus on major gifts. Was responsible for planning, developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating donor engagement and targeted communications.

Daily Planet Health Services is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing accessible, comprehensive, and integrated quality health services to anyone regardless of their housing, financial or insurance status.Supported all advancement efforts. Duties included: donor database management, gift acknowledgment, and monthly development reports; maintaining a grant funding and reporting timeline; proposal writing for public and private funding; grant management and reporting; cultivating and providing staff support for Young Professionals Committee; representing the organization at foundation, corporate and other external community meetings and events; stewarding and soliciting private donors; act as spokesperson for the organization to the media and assist in the PR efforts to include publication of annual report, press releases and website content; marketing (including social media); development and maintenance of collateral materials; special events and volunteer management.

Coordinated with service providers, volunteers, and program constituents to ensure that programs were effective and ran smoothly. Reported all deposits and expenses. Supported all organizational efforts including grant writing, fundraising, community outreach, special events, clerical work, marketing, and communications.

The goal of these programs is to allow all children the opportunity to begin kindergarten on the “same foot.” Responsibilities included conducting a phone survey of local childcare centers, researching potential grants, and creating a “fast facts” sheet on early childhood education and SBRA programs in the Fredericksburg area.

St. Joseph’s Villa is non-profit organization that works to assist homeless single mothers and children with behavioral disabilities. Responsibilities included research on charitable donations in Richmond, and contributing to a database of past and potential donors.
