Katy is beginning her career as a Travel Advisor with 30 years personal travel experience, including 10+ years living overseas, and a strong passion for travel. Her love for travel began in college when she spent a semester abroad in Granada, Spain. Katy believes travel is one of the best educational opportunities in an individual’s lifetime and she hopes to help others create these special journeys for themselves.Early in her professional career in online advertising and e-commerce Katy relocated to Sydney, Australia for a job opportunity in 2006 where she lived for 4 years. During her time in Australia she traveled to different parts of the country including Melbourne, Brisbane, Cairns, Whitsunday Islands and Tasmania. Katy considers Australia her second home. In 2010 Katy moved to Singapore where she lived for 6 years. While living in Asia, Katy traveled to a number of countries including Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia and Vietnam. Former Director of Advertising, Board Member and General Council volunteer with Southern Marin Mothers’ Club. Over 10 years experience in the online industry with a strong focus on e-commerce and online payments. Knowledge of both the U.S. and Australian e-commerce markets. Relationship and account management. Strong passion for travel and writing including a travel blog documenting living and traveling overseas, particularly around Asia.
