I lead our Education Programs team, including School Programs, Teen Programs, and Teacher Programs. I lead these teams in developing and communicating division-wide and program-specific visions, core beliefs, outcomes, and strategies. I serve as project manager for program and curriculum development projects. I led the Education Division's digital engagement strategy during the pandemic, which included the creation of self-paced online courses that have reached more than 50,000 people in 95 countries and every US state.

I oversaw the creation of the new Innovation Lab, in our Bechtel Center for Ocean Education and Leadership. I spearheaded the development of several new education programs, with specific emphasis in Project-Based Learning, Maker Ed, STEM integration and NGSS, including Design for the Ocean (8th-10th graders), the Teen Conservation Leaders Maker Track (high school), and a new distance learning initiative. I also served on the committee that guided the design of the $42-million Bechtel Family Center for Ocean Education and Leadership, a LEED Gold building that opened in 2019.
